Classic, mature and subdued was
the brief for this parents’ ensuite.
With a very busy household, our homeowners wanted a calm, adults-only space for themselves where function was foremost.
A large walk-in twin shower with a single glass panel and wall-to-wall niche provides ample space, generous shelf storage, and an easily cleaned screen. Volakas marble fan tiles, limited to the rear of the niche and up the shower wall, are a luxury inclusion that elevates the bathroom and adds contrast to the floor and wall tiles without pushing the budget.
Note the decorative detail on the vanity drawers — a subtle yet effective organic design element that pairs beautifully with the double round basins, the soft curves of the freestanding bath, and the sculptural floor-mounted bath spout.
