This expansive renovation saw the complete removal of the back section of the home, with the dwelling extended and fully renovated to create an inspired, modern living environment. With it’s long, rectangular shape, it was important the design of the home consider how best to utilise the natural light.
And, it’s here the renovation shows it’s full capabilities. The linear skylight over the living area is a triumph of design and functionality – mirroring the length of the room above which it sits, it provides daylight throughout the day and makes this space comfortable and inviting.
The full-height cathedral ceiling is stupendous and provides that much-anticipated “wow” when visitors enter the home. As it opens out to the back deck and landscaped back yard, this living zone provides the ultimate in indoor/outdoor entertaining.
