Clever touches make for a
rock star bathroom
The owners wanted something quite different for this bathroom renovation, so were looking for a company that could come up with a solution that was outside-the-box. Being a relatively small space, the husband and wife didn’t want a fixed shower screen as they felt it would add “bulk” to the space and create a visual barrier. But they also wanted a feature, free-standing bath so the challenge was to find a way to make all elements work together.
Cleverly, the shower and bath were combined with a handy recessed shelf adjacent to the bath for easy access to often-used items. But the really special feature is the motorised splash-panel which spends most of its time hidden away in the roof cavity and only makes its presence known when it’s time for a shower. A quick push of a button and the screen descends from the ceiling to catch any splashes then, just as easily, ascends back to its resting place almost wholly out of sight!
Recessed LED lights beneath the vanity and in the recessed shelf help give this bathroom an amazing ambiance, specially at night!
