This bathroom was planned as a private space for guests and sits adjacent to a guest room in the main house. It’s a compact space so the planning and layout needed to be carefully considered. The raked ceiling posed a few layout challenges which meant a number of clever design solutions were needed to fit in the essentials – shower, basin, vanity and toilet.
For ease of access, the shower of this Wahroonga home faces the door immediately on entry with the wall-hung basin on the opposite wall to one side of the door. To maximise space, fittings and fixtures were kept minimal with clean, cool whites sitting nicely against the warmth of timber grains and a gently veined floor and wall tile.
