Clever use of space has turned an old, cramped ensuite into a light, bright and welcoming space. The room was tight, so extra space was “borrowed” from an adjoining wardrobe to allow for an L-shaped bathroom that includes and over-sized vanity, roomy shower and floor-to-ceiling storage.
Keeping to a classy colour palette, the bathroom is a perfect fit with the style of the home and the laid-back lifestyle led by the owners. With plenty of storage already in the vanity, the bathroom also includes a laundry chute and extra tall storage adjacent to the shower, as well as a recessed, mirrored cabinet above.
A modern touch is introduced with the addition of coloured LED strip lights that turn the vanity from a standard piece of furniture into a visually-impressive addition to the room. The lights are fully-programmable and can be quickly adjusted to suit the mood of the occupant.
